Next Step is an independent counselling support service to birth parents, and other relatives, whose children are going to be placed or have already been placed for adoption.

• Offer a confidential counselling and support service

• Provide information about adoption

• Help you fully understand what the plans mean for you and your child

• Listen to you, allow you to talk about e.g. your experience of loss, grief, guilt, and understanding what has happened to your child and why.
